Christmas Trees Abound!

Right here in Indiana. Ever wanted to cut your own down? Well, you can! I did! We went to Evans Whispering Pines. Once there, we caught the hayride to the fields upon arrival we picked up a saw and tree cart. Tree cart is optional, but the saw is a must. Then the game was afoot! It took us awhile, but we found the perfect scotch pine, cut it down and hauled it back to the hay wagon. Once back at that the barn, we enjoyed the Christmas festivities and strolled the gift shop, while they trimmed the trunk and netted the tree (easier to lug around). It’s truly an experience everyone should have. (If only once. :) )

  1. If you’re in Northern Indiana, I recommend the Hensler Tree Nursery near Hamlet, Indiana. They can be pricey but they have excellent tress and provide a wonderful holiday experience.
